mCamView is the innovative software for Symbian 3G mobile phone to view the video of the IP Camera by ID and password. No public IP address is needed for the IP camera, no port mapping or DDNS is needed for router configuration. Just key in the ID/password of the IP camera is enough to see the video from your mobile phone or PDA anywhere, anytime.
How to install mCamView on Symbian S60:
Download mCamView.sisxdirectly from the browser of your mobile phone
Or download mCamView.sisx to the notebook or desktop computer, and then transfer mCamView.sisx to your mobile phone by using USB cable or Bluetooth or Infrared.
On your mobile phone, go to the place where you save the mCamView.sisx and click on it to start the installation.
Ignore the security warning and choose continue to finish the installation.

Making your phone accepts both unsigned and signed applications. Go to menu -> settings -> Applications -> App. Manager and set ˇ§Software installationˇ¨ item to ˇ§Allˇ¨ instead of ˇ§Signed onlyˇ¨. Also, turn off the ˇ§Online certificate checkˇ¨.
How to use mCamView :
First, start up the mCamView program from Menu->Applications(->My own)->mCamView. Then, do the following steps.
Add a camera
1.1.Click Menu -> Add.
1.2.Enter the CamID and Password of the IP camera and give a name for this camera and click OK.
Play the video
2.1.Make sure the Mobile can connect to internet through 3GPP or WiFi. The settings under Options -> Player settings->Internet access point should be the same.
2.2.Select and click the added camera item to connect to the IP camera.
2.3.Once the connection is established, mCamView will invoke the built-in streaming player to play the video..
2.4.For pan/tilt type IP camera, you can press the left/right and up/down arrow keys to do the pan/tilt movement.
Change the video settings
3.1.Click Menu -> Video settings on the camera item.
3.2.The current video settings will be displayed. Change the settings as you want. Then click Set key and enter the admin username and admin password to update the settings.
Delete the camera
4.1.Click Menu -> Delete on the camera item that you want to delete.
Exit the mCamView
5.1.Click Exit to exit mCamView.
Usage:
The mCamView runs on Mobile phone with Symbian S60 3rd Edition and window mobile 6.0 above.
